Weekends are for fresh air and exploring! Come for a guided walk for families and see what seasonal wildlife we can spot around the lakes.
Gather the family and head down to Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve to explore with a helping hand from Kent Wildlife Trust's Education team. We'll be there to answer questions, identify the species we spot and provide fascinating facts!
We'll meet at the Visitor Centre at 11.30am, and walk a short loop around one of the reserve's lakes. The walk should take around 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the walking speed of the group and how much wildlife we stop to watch! The team are extremely knowledgeable, so the content of the walk will be adapted to suit the ages and interests of those taking part as far as is possible.
These family walks are free to attend and everyone is welcome. Children must be supervised at all times by their accompanying adult. Charges apply to use the car park (card/app payments only). Numbers are limited for safety reasons, so you book tickets here if you'd like to guarantee your places, but you are also welcome to simply turn up and join in if capacity allows. Spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
