Evening Talk: The Night Sky Today

About

Have you ever looked up on a clear night and wondered about the stars and night sky above you? Gilbert White's House and Gardens sits within the South Downs National Park and a dark sky protected area. Join us and the Hampshire Astronomical Group in the Field Studies Centre for this fascinating evening talk as we discover more about astronomy and stargazing. Steve Broadbent BSc FRAS, Chairman of the Hampshire Astronomical Group, Member of the BAA and elected Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society will be using Stellarium planetarium software to guide us through a map of the night sky, constellations and planets.

This event is part of the South Downs Dark Skies Festival, 4-17 February 2023.
