Eastbourne's Magnificent Motors

About

Eastbourne’s free classic car festival, Magnificent Motors speeds to the coast from 2nd & 3rd May and revs up with a new arena and live music stage.

The well-established festival set on Eastbourne’s coast at the Western Lawns, typically draws in over 600 motors from cars to camper vans, motorbikes to military vehicles along with modern day supercars and Italian roadsters, vintage tourers and cool retros and a whole host more, attracts thousands of visitors, local and national. The event coincides with the May Bank holiday weekend.

Motor enthusiasts will be able to see vehicles which give a nostalgic nod to times gone by, alongside American muscle cars, Jaguars, Panthers, Porsches, Corvettes, Lotus, all proud classic car owners are encouraged to exhibit at the ever-popular event.

The Western Lawns opens its gates to exhibitors and festival goers from 10.30am - 4.30pm on Saturday 2nd May and Sunday 3rd May. With on-site caterers, bars, live music entertainment, fairgrounds rides and more throughout the two day festival.

Alongside the motoring displays, this year visitors can also for the first time enjoy live interviews with classic car owners in a brand new arena showcase, supported by Seahaven FM and The Hive Sound Events. From famous owners and appearances in TV and film, to tales of restoration, visitors will be able to learn more about the people and the back stories behind some of the fascinating vehicles on display.

Joining the new arena, a live music stage will set the soundtrack for the weekend with performances from Billy Joel tribute act Matt Armstrong, The Abba Girls tribute, rock n roll from Jackie & the Fabulous Jackettes and pop classics from Hunky Dory frontman Steve Dunnett.
