There's something wonderfully nostalgic about the simple act of creating at Christmas time. Join our Christmas Wreath Making Workshop at Careys Manor Hotel and embrace the spirit of the festive season.

As Christmas approaches, there's something special about bringing a little of the season indoors. Join expert florist Laura from Blooming Marvellous Creations for a relaxed festive workshop at Careys Manor, where you'll create either a handcrafted candle wreath for your Christmas table or a traditional door wreath using seasonal foliage and natural materials.

Guided step by step, you'll learn how to combine fragrant evergreen foliage, berries, ribbons and dried fruits into a beautiful festive decoration to take home. Whether you're discovering wreath making for the first time or returning to a favourite Christmas tradition, it's an opportunity to slow the pace, learn something new and spend time creating with others.

Choose from two festive experiences
Morning Session – Candle Wreath Centrepiece & Seasonal Lunch
10:00am – 2:00pm

Begin your morning with freshly brewed tea or coffee and a selection of Chef's goodies before creating a handcrafted candle wreath centrepiece for your Christmas table. Guided by expert florist Laura, you'll learn how to work with seasonal foliage and natural materials to create something beautiful to enjoy throughout the festive season.

After your workshop, settle into Cambium for a two-course seasonal lunch.

Your morning includes:

Tea, coffee and Chef's goodies on arrival
Candle wreath centrepiece workshop
Expert floristry guidance throughout
All wreath-making materials
Two-course seasonal lunch in Cambium
Please bring an apron and a pair of secateurs if possible, as only a limited number of secateurs will be available to borrow.

Afternoon Session – Festive Door Wreath & Cheese Board
2:30pm – 6:00pm

Arrive to a welcome glass of Prosecco before creating a traditional festive door wreath using seasonal foliage, berries and natural decorations. With Laura's guidance, you'll create a handcrafted wreath to welcome family and friends throughout the Christmas season.

Once your wreath is complete, round off the afternoon with a festive cheese board, a warm mince pie and a glass of mulled wine.
