Chichester Cathedral | Light Experience

About

Now part of the Chichester Cathedral annual events program, Illuminating Art in collaboration with Luxmuralis is this years Cathedral light experience.

Returning this October, Illuminating Art offers visitors the chance to journey through four centuries of artistic imagination from the 23 - 31 October 26.

Building on the success of last years event, it is a key part of Chichester Cathedrals program, highlighting the Cathedrals' rich artistic heritage and contribution to modern reglious art.

The light projects will be displayed throughout the cathedral alongside an origional music score by composer David Harper.

The experience unfolds as a carefully curated journey through the Cathedral, with each space offering a distinct atmosphere and perspective. From more intimate moments of detail and texture to expansive displays of colour and motion, the installation builds in scale and intensity, culminating in the nave where the full height and grandeur of the Cathedral are brought to life in a striking finale.

Head to Chichester this autumn, for an evening of light and sound at Chichester Cathedral.
