Honeysuckle Cottage is a light open plan cottage with large patio seating area. The cottage is situated in its own 6 acre walled garden overlooking a pond and pine forest beyond.
Behind the cottage there is direct access to the public footpath leading to the village of Cassington (15min walk) The cottage sleeps 6, with an extra sofa bed in the lounge (2). It has a wood burning stove and logs are available free of charge.
Children welcome from any age.
Travelling by car….
From Cheltenham/Witney/The West - Join the A40 Eastbound towards Eynsham. Continue for approximately 5 miles. You will come to a set of traffic lights, with a Mudie Bond garage on your right hand side, turn left into Cassington (Eynsham Road) and through the village of Cassington onto the Yarnton Road. After approximately half a mile you will see the turning for Worton Park on your Right. Follow the drive down, turn left and follow signs into the car park.
From London and the M40/The East - Follow signs for Oxford A40 until the end of the dual carriageway at Headington. At the double roundabout take the third exit and A40 West. Follow the dual carriageway over two more roundabouts for approx 8miles. At the traffic lights turn right into the village of Cassington.
Travelling by Rail….
As you are leaving the Train Station turn right onto the Botley Road. Continue until you reach the traffic lights with a McDonalds restaurant on your left. Turn right towards the Botley Interchange Roundabout. Take the 3rd Exit off the roundabout onto the A34 Western Bypass Road, after approximately five miles leave the A34 signed Woodstock and Evesham. Continue straight over Frieze Way roundabout onto the A44 Woodstock Road. After 1 mile take the 1st exit off the roundabout onto Cassington Road, which will run onto Yarnton Road. Go through the village of Yarnton. After the humpbacked bridge you will see a sign for Worton Park on your left, follow the drive down, turn left and into the car park.
If you are travelling from Oxford City Centre follow the directions from the Train Station.
