Fairfields Farm is an attractive touring park on a family-run working farm in the village of Westham. We offer a well laid out site with excellent clean facilities, enhanced by a lakeside walk leading to our fishing lake. Along the walk you can also enjoy farm pets such as Pygmy goats, Kune Kune pigs, chickens, ducks and geese and Shetland ponies.
Our amenities include toilets, washbasins and showers with free hot water, chemical sluice, washing up and laundry facilities and electrical hook-up pitches.
We aim to provide peaceful surroundings in which to enjoy a relaxing break and although whilst on site you are in the country, we also enjoy easy access to a good road network thereby providing for a good base from which to explore many local attractions.
Westham and Pevensey villages, both within walking distance, have beautiful architecture including the first Norman church built in 1080 and Pevensey Castle.
Eastbourne, 3 miles distant, has beaches, gardens, live theatre and modern shopping centre. Beaches can also be found at Pevensey Bay (2 miles), which may be reached on foot via a footpath starting behind Westham church.
Many other attractions can be found a little further afield and a range of literature is available from reception.
For walkers and cyclists, the park is conveniently situated for the 1066 walk, the South Downs Way and the Cuckoo Trail at Polegate. Furthermore, Pevensey and Westham railway station can be found within two minutes walk, on the Hastings - Victoria line. London will take approximately an hour and three-quarters by train and Brighton 30 minutes.
The port of Newhaven is 35 minutes drive and Dover 2 hours. Both ports offer day trips (or longer) to France.
A well stocked shop selling provisions for your stay can be found on-site. A supermarket can be found at Langney shopping centre (approx 3/4 mile). There is also a larger superstore about 2 miles away, located next to the lovely continental style ''Water Front'' at the Sovereign harbour.
