About

In the grounds of the ancient Sussex farmstead of Old Church Farm, Guestling, next to the Norman Church, are three luxurious rental cottages: The Granary, The Dairy and Long Acre.

The idyllic non-working farm lies between Hastings and Rye in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, two miles to the sea, on the 1066 Country Walk and amidst wonderful walking country. The welcoming local pub in Pett is a 15-minute walk away through the Woodland Trust’s Guestling Wood.

The Granary - a large, heavily beamed Elizabethan barn and square oast converted to give two double bedrooms, one with ensuite and slipper bath, one single bedroom and a family bathroom. The book-lined sitting room has french doors with church view.

The Dairy - a light one-storey conversion of the farm’s dairy to give a very comfortable double bedroom, bathroom with bath and shower, and large airy open plan living room with kitchen area.

Long Acre - the smallest of the cottages: a typical wood-framed farm building. It sits at the highest point of the farmland and its french doors open onto a glorious view of ancient woodland and fields.
