A completely tidal bay, with a long stretch of sand when the tide is out.
Providing an excellent opportunity for sandcastle building as the sand is fairly compact. Combine this with the excellent rock pools and it makes for an ideal place for children and adults to explore. With a promenade cafe and restaurant plus pub across from the beach.
Dog ban in place from 1st May until 30th September, dogs not permitted from 10am to 6pm.
See other Blue Flag Beaches in South East England.
