If hand crafted, locally made, is more your thing, then The Sussex Guild Shop & Gallery is for you. Established as a charity over 50 years ago with over 100 members, it brings together a group of local professional designers and makers of fine, contemporary and traditional craftwork.

Winchester, Hampshire

The former capital of England is a well preserved city so even shopping in Winchester means popping in to historic buildings. It makes it a wonderful place to go bargain hunting – whether you're thinking antique or boutique!

Winchester's Christmas Market sets the standard by which others are judged while one of the UK's largest Farmers' Markets (2nd and final Sunday of each month), made famous by Rick Stein, offers revered local produce from the rural county of Hampshire.

Windsor, Berkshire
