Bowls score board in Beach House Park Worthing

About

Worthing's most prestigious town centre park. Best known for its bowling greens, the colourful site has tree-lined paths, herbaceous borders and colourful flower beds as well as a unique war memorial to carrier pigeons. Bowls players will know it for its international class bowling greens. There are also two changing pavilions, and the new and renovated Palm Court Pavilion.

For some summertime fun ask a gardener or attendant for the pieces to use the two outdoor Chess / Draughts boards. This facility is free.

For refreshments try the parade of shops on Brighton Road (turn left from front entrance) where there are several cafes, or turn right into Brighton Road and head in towards the town centre where there are a wide range of places to eat and drink.

There are four local bowling clubs resident on site:- Beach House Park Ladies, Homefield Park Men, Homefield Park Ladies and Worthing Bowling Club, each of which may have vacancies for new members.
