Thanet Visitor Information Centre - Covering Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate
The Visitor Information Service is located within the historic Droit House on Margate's Harbour Arm, adjacent to Turner Contemporary art gallery. The service provides information on Margate and neighbouring resorts, Broadstairs and Ramsgate as well as surrounding villages and Kent. The Isle of Thanet, with its three resort towns is a fantastic, all season, coastal destination rich in culture and heritage to discover and explore.
The range of services include:
Accommodation recommendations and advice
Booking your tickets for National Express and other local coach day trips & holidays
Offering local information on events, attractions, activities, transport, experiences and sustainable travel.
Selling a range of souvenirs, including those produced or designed in Thanet and Kent, as well as an eco range
Selling radar keys, stamps and tide timetables
Providing a large range of maps, visitor guides, local and regional leaflets
Coastal Explorer packs available to hire for family fun and discovery at the coast
Left luggage facility and free water refill station.
