West's Wood Fair is an event featuring the many interesting ways in which wood is used, with lots going on for all the family including a Gun Dog Display, Live Music, a Kids Corner, lawn mower racing, Pole Climbing Demonstration, Dorset Axemen, and over 100 exhibitors, as well as lots of competitions, like the Sussex Scrumpy Stakes many of which are free to enter!
We will have heavy horses pulling our wooden pole-waggon and putting on logging demonstrations and our tractor & trailer ride will of course be available taking you into the depths of the forest. Plus our newer activities, like crazy croquet and I'm a lumberjack get me out of here are returning.
Weather permitting there will be hot air balloons, from the Surrey & Sussex Balloon Group, taking off from the wood fair both early mornings & early evenings.
