This summer, Leonardslee Gardens is proud to welcome The Lord Chamberlain's Men for the very first time, presenting Shakespeare's Othello- one of the most powerful tragedies ever written.
Step back in time and experience Shakespeare as it was originally performed. With a rich heritage tracing back to Shakespeare's own company, The Lord Chamberlain's Men bring this timeless story to life in true Elizabethan style, featuring an all-male cast, authentic costumes, live music and dance. When Othello promotes Cassio over Iago, it sparks a dangerous chain of manipulation that leads to tragic consequences.
