ROAR-some Brick Dinosaurs Trail
Reading
Reading
Reading town centre is preparing for a ROAR-some invasion this summer as giant brick-built dinosaurs arrive for the brand-new Reading Dino Trail, taking place from 25 July to 23 August 2026. Promising an exciting new adventure for families, residents and visitors alike to explore the town.
The free trail will transform Reading into an epic day out, with 19 incredible dinosaur models hidden across the town centre, in both indoor venues and outdoor public spaces. Built entirely from toy bricks, the collection includes everything from a towering 180,000 brick stegosaurus to a detailed T-Rex skull and a collection of adorable baby dinos.
Exciting prizes are also up for grabs for eagle-eyed explorers who spot all the clues and enter the online competition - click visit link above to head over to Visit Reading competition page.
The initiative is brought to Reading by its town centre businesses, through Reading’s Business Improvement District (BID), and will be delivered in partnership with The Oracle and Broad Street Mall shopping centres.
The trail will also headline a packed calendar of family-friendly events and activities taking place across Reading this summer, helping to showcase the town centre as a vibrant destination for shopping, dining, entertainment and culture.
