Whether enjoying a performance or a meal by the river, the Mill at Sonning Theatre provides an beautiful setting for a memorable eating out experience.
With the original waterwheel, still in operation, the setting is one of historical charm that makes this a unique venue to enjoy lunch, afternoon tea or a pre-theatre show dinner.
The Mill at Sonning is the UK's only dinner theatre creating an experience to remember, with a fully waiter serviced two or three-course meal as part of your Signature or Classic package. Each show has a unique menu, including a delicious selection of main courses and desserts.
The Waterwheel bar with its historic turning water wheel is one of the most beautiful Waterside Setting. With indoor and outdoor seating available.
The Waterwheel Bar is open Thursday from 10am - 4pm for light lunches and afternoon teas (full afternoons pre-order only – kitchen closes at 3pm) and on Saturday evenings after show only.
Reservations can be made seperately from a theatre show for Afternoon Tea, Cream Tea or Lunch.
The bar is open before each show from 11am for a matinee or 5pm for an evening show.
A fully stocked bar is available for pre-show drinks or when enjoying the unique bar for a light meal or afternoon tea.
