Enjoy some Christmas Illuminations with a difference at the Ramsgate Royal Harbour in Kent.
Many of the berth holders will be dressing their boats in Christmas lights in the lead up to the big day. This much-loved festive favourite saw 76 boats join the illuminated spectacle in 2024, normally starting early December and shining its brightest by mid-December - this dazzling display also helps raise funds for Ramsgate RNLI.
This year, the waterfront will be brighter than ever, featuring new colour-changing festoon lights along the Military Road arches and a beautifully lit Obelisk, adding even more sparkle to Ramsgate's iconic seafront. Why not stop for dinner at one of the harbour restaurants and enjoy the view a little longer.
This event will also be part of this year's Ramsgate Winter Festival, which also includes the Light Up Ramsgate Trail, New Year's Eve Lantern Parade and Christmas Tree Festival.
