Orchard Bug Explorers
Hunt for bugs in the orchards, meadow and wildlife garden. See where they live in the wild! Learn all about these interesting creatures and why they are so important to us! You will be led by our education leader who will help you find the best beasties at Brogdale!

Book your Live Bug Show time and meet the giant insects & more! 1 Hour Show (Book, then spend the whole day discovering, exploring and having fun!)
Meet an impressive collection of Mega Bugs, including giant cockroaches, millipedes, Vinegaroons and Stick insects.
Meet the infamous Peanut the Pygmy Hedgehog!
The displays are educational, fun and packed full of weird, wonderful and cute animals, that children wouldn't usually get a chance to meet including snails, scorpions, beetle larvae, tarantulas and lots more.
The displays allow children to become involved and close up to a variety of animals either by touching, holding or just by looking.
Visit the Orchards – self guided tour
Go on a self guided walk and explore the National Fruit Collection orchards with the children. See if you can spot anything interesting on the way.
Outdoor Craft!
Make your very own bugs and beasts to take home using model clay and scavenged beastie bits!
