In 2012, Vinz, a young Frenchman, thought it would be great if his friends in Reading could join him in celebrating Bastille Day and also gain a better understanding of French culture. So, Bastille Day 2012 was born out of this idea.
Now in its 14th year - The Bastille Day Reading Festival returns, bringing the Red, White and Blue to Forbury Gardens this summer. Taking place on the 11th & 12th July this festival brings a touch of France to the Berkshire. Full of family fun, this free event brings an afternoon of entertainment all linked around a French theme.
