Basingstoke Festival

About

The fantastically successful award-winning Basingstoke Festival returns this summer. This event is a must for your calendar and is a fantastic opportunity for those living or visiting Hampshire over the summer.

Over three weekends (Friday 20 June to Sunday 6 July) the festival brings together the best of Basingstoke’s local talent, alongside world-class performances from across the globe. Much of the programme is free and varied for all ages to find something to enjoy, expect fabulous street theatre and captivating acts from breathtaking aerial dance, comedy and circus, acrobatics, eccentric juggling and absurd acts of balance.

Immerse yourself in the magic of live performances, whether you want to pack up a picnic and enjoy whole days of entertainment or pop by for a show or two, head to Basingstoke Festival to discover new artists and celebrate the creative spirit of Basingstoke.

New for this year’s programme only, the fantastic NoFit State will be pitching up their Big Top Tent in War Memorial Park with their award-winning large-scale circus spectacular SABOTAGE for ten whole days throughout the festival, from Friday 20 to Sunday 29 June 2025. These performances are ticketed and can be booked at: https://www.nofitstate.org/shows/sabotage-basingstoke/

There is so much more to explore throughout the festival including a new pop-up Eco-Zone and many other wonderful community events taking place across the borough.
