The date is 1924 and Stansted House is a flurry of activity in preparation for the traditional Servants Ball. But the staff need some help...! Are you ready to take on the role of footman, maid or cook?
From the minute you arrive you'll step back in time and be immersed in an early 20th Century Christmas with hands on duties including helping the staff with dinner service in the grand Dining Room, Christmas drinks from the wine cellar and getting games ready in the Servant's Hall. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get involved. And as a reward the cook has drinks and mince pies ready for you in the Victorian Kitchen. But only after you have given her at least one Christmas Carol!
This is an opportunity to be immersed into a Christmas straight out of Gosford Park or Downton Abbey
The experience will last approximately 90 minutes and we welcome guests to dress in the style of the 1920's if they wish
