We are delighted to host a special lecture by renowned historian Dr. Steven Bednarski, entitled The Baronet and His Architect.
Dr. Bednarski will explore the captivating and costly interwar project of baronet Sir Paul Latham and his visionary architect, Walter Godfrey.
Their mission was to rescue a 15th-century ruin and rebuild it as an elegant, modern dwelling.
This is a tale of grand ambition, a deepening friendship, and the cruel interruption of war, which saw their private paradise transformed into a military outpost.
