Leith Hill

About

Set in the beautiful Surrey Hills Leith Hill has always been a popular place for visitors.  It offers beautiful countryside walks, stunning views and great picnic spots overlooking the rolling Surrey Hills.  Under the canopy of trees, most walks are shaded so it's a great place to walk on warm days.  The  Leith Hill stone tower (managed and operated by National Trust) awaits you at the top of the hill.  You can venture to the top by climbing the spiral staircase (charge applies) and on a good day see the Wembley Arch and the London Eye.  The Tower can be seen from the surrounding countryside peeking through the trees, the top of the tower marks the highest point in South East England at 1029ft (313m).
