Welcome to the Wonderful World of Wine tasting of Germany, England, Austria, and Hungary. It's time to discover the aromatic wines of Europe!
Germany is the home to the king of the white grapes, Riesling, an extremely versatile grape, that makes some of the world's best white wines.
Forget what you thought you knew about German wines, instead imagine dry, acidic, and mineral-led wines from Riesling, Weissburgunder (Pinot blanc), Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris), and the complex and wondrous Spatburgunder (Pinot Noir). It's a country with amazing wines, that seem to be a secret, but hopefully not for long.
We'll also get under the skin of English, Austrian, and Hungarian wines.
(Note, this evening is part of our core 8-week course - book all 8 evenings and save £55! And it's flexible, so if you have to skip an evening you can pick it up next time it runs).
This evening is suitable for all levels of wine knowledge!
This event will include tasting samples of six carefully selected wines, wine notes & handouts, and a 2-hour interactive presentation, with Q&A, led by our wine tutor.
