The Artful Christmas Weekend is now and established event in the Sir Harold Hilliers Gardens Visitors Centre near Romsey and has become known for showcasing the best in creative local talent. A place to discover high quality and unique gifts for Christmas, directly from the artists and makers themselves over this two-day event.

Free to enter with a café on site, this a wonderful day out to shop small and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Artful Collective brings together nearly 30 talented local artists and makers showcasing a variety of disciplines including ceramics, stained glass, printmaking, jewellery, textiles, fine art and woodwork. In addition to this, throughout the weekend there will be free festive craft activities for children supported by Hampshire County Council, as well as live performances from local groups in the courtyard, raising money for local charities.

The Artful Events organisers aim to provide opportunities and support for independent artists as part of their mission to inspire people to discover and nurture their creativity.

Admission to this event, Hillier's cafe & visitor centre are free, with free parking on site. Charges to visit the garden itself apply and are well worth a visit. There is no better time to walk their renowned Winter garden with more than 650 plants grown for their winter beauty.
