The delights of Christmas can be inevitably captured in the magical event a Festival of Christmas in Portsmouth, Hampshire. Stylish themes, inspirational colour and theatrical music will all feature in the festival which takes place at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
Behold the magic and sparkle of a Festival of Christmas including a stunning Candlelit Carol Concerts, a Christmas Shopping village and Outdoor Arcades, which echo a European theme. Home to over 100 stalls, traders present inspiring and unique gifts to visitors.
In this journey of Christmas celebration through time guests also have the chance to enjoy an outdoor French Market offering exceptional food and drink from all over the Continent.
This years festival takes place 30 November - 2 December at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, so pop over and get some great Christmas presents and ideas.

- Brand new and bigger Fagin's Tavern - step inside and join Fagin and his gang as they plot their next scheme. Sing, dance and drink with Nancy and the gals. Sit and relax and enjoy real ale or mulled wine in the bawdy surroundings of a Victorian music hall.

Things to see and do...
Entry into the Festival of Christmas also permits access to over 800 years of Britain's maritime history in Portsmouth's Historic Dockyard including: HMS Victory, HMS Warrior 1860, Mary Rose Ship Hall & Museum, Royal Naval Museum and Action Stations.
History
The festival originated in 1999. Six years on the Festival of Christmas continues to celebrate its success with new and exciting features including Street entertainment, Live music and Ice Rink, attracting families from across the South Coast to Portsmouth, Hampshire.
