Guide to Music Festivals across the South East
Arguably one of the most popular music festivals in the South East is Reading Festival (25 - 27 August 2017). Taking place on August Bank holiday weekend, the three day music event traditionally attracts some of the best rock bands in the world despite having more dance acts in recent years. If you're looking for something spritual then Oxfordshire's Wilderness Festival is taking place at the start of August (3 - 6 August 2017) . Spread across four days the festival is ideal for nature lovers and not only does it have fantastic live music but offers contemporary arts, an array of theatre and craftsmanship.

Hampshire & the Isle of Wight
Earlier in mid June, the Isle of Wight Festival (8 - 11 June 2017) rocks up as the festival season finally starts to kick start in the summer. Already annnounced for 2017 is Arcade Fire, David Guetta, Rod Stewart and many more! The three day event gives you a choice of where to stay with Boutique Camping being offered to visitors which is essentially a more posh way of camping.
Mutiny Festival (27 - 28 May 2017) is a diverse dance music weekend in Portsmouth, UK. Some of the very best DJs, producers and artists around lift the summer mood on England's south coast, at one of the country's newest lights on the festival scene. Renowned rapper 50 Cent will be leading the bill this year, as 4 stages, carnival performers, secret discos and the finest gourmet food come together for a complete weekend experience.
If you’re looking for something a bit more quirky then look no further than Boomtown Fair (10- 13 August 2017), located near Winchester, this year with 24 main stages to choose from showcasing a range of music genres and some of most weird and wonderful surroundings in the country.
