About

The market town of Beconsfield in Buckinghamshire is divided into the old and the new. The 'Old Town' presents a well-kept and gracious main street, with some interesting shops and pubs and the compact little 'new town' is also a pleasant place for browsing.  On Tuesdays look out for the weekly market.

Beconsfield has strong links to Enid Blyton. Enid Blyton writer of the Famous Five, Secret Seven and Little Noddy childrens books, lived in Beconsfield from 1938 until her death in 1968.

Two of the most popular things to do in Beaconsfield are Bekonscot Model Village and Odds Farm Park. Bekonscot Model Village and Railway is the world's oldest and original model village, having opened in 1929. Odds Farm Park is about far more than their lovable animals with a giant indoor playbarn and numerous outdoor activities including go-karts, tractor rides and crazy golf.
