About

The rivers Blackwater and Cut run through the picturesque Bracknell Forest, much of which is recognised for its high value of wildlife and areas designated as Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). These include Broadmoor to Bagshot Woods and Swinley Forest.

The Thames Basin Heaths is home to bird speices such as the Dartford Warbler, Hobby, Woodlark and Nightjar.

As well as the rural surroundings of Bracknell Forest, there is easy access to London and Reading with plenty to do within a short journey. Bracknell Tourist Information Centre is based at the Look Out Discovery Centre with more than 90 hands-on science and discovery activities.
