Fishers Adventure Farm Park

Theme & Water Parks

When it comes to amazing theme parks in England you will be spoilt for choice in the South East, with some of the best theme parks in the UK found right throughout the region, ideal for a day out or holiday excursion.

Best Theme Parks in South East England

Whether it's the big rides for adrenaline junkie thrill seekers or a family theme park perfect for kids of all ages, South East England has something for you.

The region's most well known theme park is Chessington World of Adventures and for good reason. It's reputation for an action-packed day out has been enhanced by the new Gruffalo River Ride Adventure, sitting alongside classic favourites such as Rameses Revenge and the Vampire roller coaster.

Peppa fans will be enchanted by Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park in Hampshire. Peppa Pig's very own theme park with seven fun rides and attractions is an amazing fun day out that the kids will never forget.

Also for younger children, LEGOLAND® Windsor in Berkshire showcases its incredible Lego creations through some inspirational rides. At Gulliver's Land in Buckinghamshire the family will have a magical experience with over 70 rides, attractions and shows.

Family Theme Parks in Sussex

If you are looking to do something near the sea, why not visit Harbour Park in Littlehampton, West Sussex. Harbour Park is located on the beach at Littlehampton and is a great family day out with kids, they have funfair rides, picnic greens and buckets of laughs.

Fishers Farm Park in Billinghurst was voted the best family day out in 2013. A must do for any family planning a fun day out including rides, indoor play for toddlers and a splash park.

Also in Sussex, Drusillas Park near Brighton opened a brand new attraction for 2017, Go Safari! This totally wild new area is expected to open in June and will combine an African theme. It will cause quite a fu'roar amongst young lionhearted explorers, with three exciting children's rides; the Hippopotobus, Flying Cheetahs and the Safari Express train.

Southwater Watersports near Horsham is a water park specialising in canoeing and kayaking for people of all ages.

Theme Parks in Kent

One of the best theme parks in Kent is the newly opened Dreamland in Margate, a step into an old fashioned yet oh-so fashionable world of fun, food, thrills and good times. For a more quirky theme park is Diggerland in Kent. Perfect for children, here you can drive real diggers, watch dancing diggers and even get a ride in the scoop of a digger.

One of Kent's best water parks is at Action Watersports with a huge selection of activities from water skiing to the more sedate stand up paddle boarding.

Adventure Theme Parks

Those after something more thrilling should visit Thorpe Park in Surrey, the second most popular theme park in England. Or for an exciting tree-top adventure try Go Ape with sites located across the south east.

A trip Blackgang Chine on the Isle of Wight presents a full day of fun including roller coasters, water slides and animatronic dinosaurs while its sister site Robin Hill Country Park in Newport has a high speed toboggan, motion simulator, train rides and swinging galleon.

If water sports and activities take your fancy during the warm sunny weather, check out our dedicated section. Or try Lymington Sea Water Baths for a unique water theme park.

For theme park discounts and theme park vouchers, be sure to check each attraction's website for special offers on tickets prior to visiting.
