Red ArrowsThe internationally recognised event, the Farnborough International Airshow, Farnborough Airfield, Farnborough is an exceptional exhibit distinguished for it's aerospace equipment and technology, a fun filled day out for all the family.

The Farnborough International Airshow will be celebrating its 60th year in 2008. Held at the Farnborough Aerodrome, which has long standing aviation links, it offers electrifying daily flying displays which showcase some of the most advanced aircraft from the military and commercial sectors.

The Farnborough International Air Show plays host to an astonishing 4 ½ hour flying display will leave you breathless. Whilst on land there is plenty to see and do with a variety of historic to modern and civil to military aircraft. With a static display, 5 exhibition halls, seminars and many family rides and attractions, the Farnborough International Air Show promises to be a day like no other.

The audience is assured to be captivated by the infamous Red Arrows performing their exciting stunts over the Farnborough Airfield as well as being able to experience the static display which runs parallel with the exhibition where guests can be enthralled by an in-depth view of the aircraft.

History

Farnborough Airfield saw service during both World Wars and the town is possibly the most historic site in the country for aviation.

The Farnborough International Air Show takes place bi-annually, proving to be one of largest shows of its kind across the world.
