Nestled amongst the historic ships and museums of Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is the timeless treasure Mary Rose. A unique Tudor time capsule, the ship sank on July 19th 1545 taking with her a full crew of men, their possessions and the stunning contents of a fighting warship. She was famously raised from the Solent in 1982 and the hull and museum has since been visited by over 7 million people. Away from public eyes is the Reserve Collection, a fascinating insight into the multitude of artefacts not currently on display.
