Take in the glories of the colourful mixed borders and ascend Battleston Hill for a stunning view over the garden and surrounding countryside. Wander through the dramatic, scented Pinetum or make your way to the top of the Rock Garden.

View of Glasshouse at Wisley - copyright Virginia GreyThe recently opened Glasshouse is a stunning new addition to the garden and on entry visitors will see the finest showcase of exotic plants that gardeners can grow at home. Over 5000 different cultivated plants in three climatic zones offer inspiration to gardeners of all abilities.

For gardeners with an interest in growing your own fruit and veg, visit the Fruit Field and see thousands of cultivars across 16 acres. The Vineyard and Model Fruit Garden also demonstrate how possible it is to grow a wider variety of fruit in our climate, whatever pot, container or garden size available.

Finally each visit would not be complete without a look in the Wisley Shop and Plant Centre - a treasure trove of gift ideas, seasonal displays and essential gardening equipment.
