The Pallant House Gallery, Chichester, houses one of the countries most impressive art collections housed in a grade 1 listed town house. Chichester is also home to the spectacular Cass Sculpture Garden, a superb display of specially commissioned monumental sculptures situated in a landscape garden. The Chichester Festival Theatre is one of the UKs flagship theatres and has a wide range of productions from musicals and comedies, to classic drama and innovative new writing.

The River Thames is pure inspiration for artists in the South East. Why not pay a visit to the Bohun Gallery in Henley-on-Thames which specialises in contemporary British fine art and boasts a lively and varied exhibition programme. The Stanley Spencer Gallery, Cookham, is a gallery dedicated to the life and work of Sir Stanley Spencer who lived in the area.

For theatre lovers, Portsmouth is an ideal destination with two venues to offer, the Kings Theatre and New Theatre Royal. Both designed by the architect Frank Matcham, they are magnificent sights to behold and offer diverse programmes.
