New Forest

You could spend weeks in the New Forest and still not see it all. There are miles of walks to be had, winding through copses, over heathland and along the coast. Hire a bike and set off down the lanes - but look out for the horses and ponies that have the right of way in the New Forest. Hungry? There are so many cosy tea rooms and traditional pubs that you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Paultons Park in the New Forest is a great theme park for young families. There are exciting rides, animals to watch and quiet corners to rest, it’s no wonder Paultons Park is so popular. It’s a great day out, make sure you’ve plenty of energy, you’ll need it for Paultons Park.
Wooden ships were once built at Buckler's Hard in the New Forest. Pop into the Maritime Museum and Bucklers Hard Story and find out more. Not far from Bucklers Hard is Exbury Gardens where the colours change with the seasons. Yet it’s the rhododendrons that Exbury Gardens are so famous for, a riot of colours that brighten the Spring.
For car lovers The National Motor Museum at Beaulieu is a must, you can also wander round the ruins of Beaulieu Abbey and visit Palace House. Beaulieu village is pretty, just what you’d expect to find in the New Forest.
