Group Events
Tourism South East's Group Travel events offer visitors the opportunity to gather valuable information to plan future days out, short breaks and stays. Free for visitors, the events allow face to face communication with attractions, destinations and accommodation providers from across the region.
Below is a list of events for group travel organisers for 2011.
Excursions 2011
Date: 15 January 2011
Location: Alexandra Palace, London
This exhibition is the ideal way to establish new group contacts and develop existing relationships.
This exhibition has now been held and feedback has proven this show to have been a success with visitors and exhibitors.
Excursions 2010 was held on the 16th January 2010 and was a great success, Co-organiser Tourism South East's Elaine Pearce said, "Excursions 2010 has been a fantastic we were able to showcase over 220 exhibitors across the UK with over 20% stands exhibiting for the first time and indicate that the groups market continues to remain strong in the current economic climate."

Group Travel Fairs 2011
Held annually, the Group Travel Fairs take place at attractions across the region. Sponsored by Group Travel Organiser magazine, the events for 2011 will be held at Denbies Wine Estate in Surrey and the Royal Marines Museum in Hampshire.
The fairs attract over 40 exhibitors from destinations, attractions, entertainment, accommodations and places to eat. With a growing educational sector interest, the fairs are building on their success to provide visitors with valuable information and ideas for future group travel itineraries.
ADMISSION TO EVENTS IS FREE TO VISITORS
Denbies Wine Estate, Surrey
Date: 12th February 2011 - 10:00am - 2:00pm
Situated in Dorking, Surrey, Denbies English Vineyard is the largest in England representing over 10% of the plantings in the whole of the UK. This beautiful vineyard is the first wine estate in the world to give visitors of all ages a unique and fascinating insight into all aspects of the wine producing process, with indoor and outdoor tours and tastings.
The Group Travel Fair will be held within in the Garden Room & Denbies Suite. Denbies are also offering visitors a complimentary tour around the vineyards after their visit to the fair.

Royal Marines Museum, Hampshire
Date: 26th February 2011 - 10:30am - 2:30pm
Royal Marines Museum situated on the seafront at Southsea, Portsmouth celebrates the famous fighting spirit and long history of the Royal Marines. You can explore the exhibits, enjoy there interactive displays and films and see how the Royal Marines have developed into the world renowned elite fighting force of today.
The Group Travel Fair will be held within the museum allowing visitors to explore the museum after they have attended to Group Travel Fair.
