 Ascot

Ascot Children’s Nosebag is hugely popular and is served throughout the year in all the public areas. The bag includes a sandwich, fruit item, bag of crisps, chocolate bar and a drink for £4.50.
Child sized portions of fish and chips and chicken and chips are served at £ pp from the Fish & Chip bar, opposite the bandstand – a great place to sit down and eat your food whilst listening to live music.
Adult meals start from £8.50pp.

A new restaurant, The Bandstand Restaurant opens this Summer at Ascot Racecourse. A non-bookable, open to all, 200 seater fine dining area, serving traditional favourites such as Roast Beef, Sausages & Mash plus a more global offering of Thai and Asian food. Prices start from £12.50pp. Afternoon tea is also served here, full afternoon tea is priced at £13.40pp and light afternoon is priced at £7.00pp.

LEGOLAND

New Healthy Eating Menus: This year the park is making eating at LEGOLAND Windsor healthy, tasty and fun. The park has partnered with Purely Nutrition, of the industry’s leading advisory bodies for healthy eating, to further improve its food offering this season. Signature dishes from best-selling children’s food expert, Annabel Karmel, feature on the park’s menus, new for 2008 LEGOLAND Windsor is the only theme park in the country to use non-hydrogenated vegetable oil. All fizzy drinks have been removed from children’s meals and replaced with a choice of still water, milk or Capri Sun 100% fruit juice. Every children’s meal contains a piece of fruit and this forms part of an exclusive LEGOLAND Windsor lanyard. This comes with one of 10 collectable ‘Heroes Wanted’ badges for younger guests to swap with staff. A special golden badge, worn by staff members, can be traded in return for a heroes badge and exchanged with a FREE ticket to LEGOLAND Windsor. The park has also reduced the price of selected children’s meals and fruit, side salads are offered with all children’s meals, the park uses sustainable fish in the New England-style fish restaurant, Captain Barnacle’s Boatshed and will be introducing a clear ‘traffic light’ system on menu boards to help guests make more informed meal choices

Portsmouth

- Mozzarella Joe’s is Southsea’s only restaurant right on the beach and is a great destination for families. Classic pizzas, slurpy pastas and dedicated kids meals feature on their extensive menu, keeping the whole family happy. In summer make sure you bag a table on the terrace and watch large ships and smaller boats float by.
- Gunwharf Quays is great for fussy little eaters – with over 20 bars and restaurants there’s something for everyone. Tootsies is particularly popular, with its dedicated Junior Menu and gourmet burgers!

Runnymede Hotel and Spa’s Charlie Bell’s Restaurant have a menu catering just for the kids.
