Ferries from the Isle of Wight
Coming to a show at The Mayflower from the Isle of Wight is quick and easy, even for evening performances. Instead of bringing your car over specially for the occasion, we recommend using Red Funnel's Red Jet passenger ferry service, and catching the free CityLink bus (run by Bluestar) to and from the theatre.
The CityLink buses are timed to meet the ferries, and will take you from just outside the Red Jet terminal to the drop off point marked on the map next to Southampton Central rail station, which is less than five minute's walk from The Mayflower; cross the bridge to the right of the station and follow signs to the theatre.
Shows usually finish in good time to catch the CityLink for the 10.45pm Red Jet; if not, there is another Red Jet at 11.45pm, although the CityLink service does not have a service from the station to meet this ferry, so unless you catch an earlier bus, it is wise to catch a taxi.
