The volunteers at Steamship Shieldhall in Southampton has released the details on the ship's 2024 sailing programme.The next trip for 2024 is the Friday the 3rd of May,with a final sailing on Sunday 15 September.There are a variety of 2 hour, 3 hour, 3 and a half hour, 4 hour and all day sailings to choose from, including some returning favourite cruises and some all new trips Hop on board on the 8th or 9th June for a D-Day 80th themed cruise to the Solent wich will be showcasing the important role of the Solent played in Operation Overlord.
Musical highlights of the 2024 programme include the Selsey Shanteymen performing on board on Saturday 4th May and Southamptons own 'Salty Sea Dogs' on Sunday 28th July, in addition to the 5th July and the 16th of August Friday evening music trips. Not forgetting Shieldhall's own in-house jazz band, The Stompers, who will provide entertainment on her positional cruise to Poole on Bank holiday Monday 26th August.
