Green Dragon Rare Breeds Farm & Eco Centre

Green Dragon Eco Farm is located in beautiful open countryside in North Bucks where there’s plenty of space for families to play and explore outdoors and indoors.

Our play barn is ideal for those wet days with its soft play for under 8s and own cafe. But when the sun’s out,  there’s 44 acres of
paddocks of rare breed farm animals, the animal barn and pets’ corner where you can meet the animals, outdoor play, picnic area, and nature trail with wild flower meadow.

We produce our own meat so there’s a ‘Farm to Fork’ trail to follow around the farm and you can finish off by sampling our produce in the Eco Centre restaurant, including fruit and veg from the walled garden and orchard.  The restaurant is on the ground floor of the Eco Centre, our sustainably built timber-framed barn, that also houses our shop, selling children’s gifts and toys. We also have a purpose built function room including our in-house catering that is available for hire for meetings, classes or special events.

Setting up a rare breeds' farm and Eco Centre has been thirty eight years in the planning and is a dream come true for owner, Ray Marzec. Now in our second year, we have great plans for developing our educational offer - promoting conservation, respect for the environment and sustainable living.
