Brighton Local Produce

About

Being by the seaside and close to the countryside means that you'll find plenty of fresh local produce served in many of the restaurants and eateries in around Brighton & Hove, plus there is a regular Food & Makers Market in central Brighton from May to September, on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month, 11-4pm. Free Entry, held in The Brighthelm Centre.

So, whether it's seafood caught fresh from the sea or vegetables from a Sussex farm, drinks from one of the local Sussex vineyards or perhaps a spirit from a local distillery, you're to be able to enjoy a 'made in Sussex' or 'made in Brighton' product during your visit or day out.

Keep an eye out for a wide variety of Sussex and Brighton based breweries creating craft beer and kombuchas and indoor and flea markets selling vintage goods and new pieces from local traders. Why not try a Brighton food walking tour, a unique way to see the city of Brighton and enjoy some of the locally made delights on the way, or afternoon tea on a traditional red double decker London bus, or pay a visit to one of the shops selling local produce too.
