The South East of England is filled with a wealth of literary connections, from the River Thames countryside that was home to Ratty, Mole and Toad, to the Oxford of Alice in Wonderland.

C.S. Lewis
C.S Lewis moved to Oxford after his mothers' death. While living in the city he joined the Inklings and wrote 'The Chronicles of Narnia'.
