Enjoy a Boxing Day Swim in Deal this Christmas and help raise money for local charities and good causes. Organised by The Rotary Club of Deal and The Deal Rotary Pirates this event continues a long tradition of a Boxing Day Dips that started back in the1970's in Tenby, Wales with many swimmers enjoying taking part in fancy dress and getting into the spirit of fun raising.
Last year was a record turnout with over 500 dippers and an estimated 2000 plus spectators lining the pier and the seafront to watch. The dip starts at 1.30pm this year (later than usual due to the tides). Early bird tickets are available until 23rd December at £7, on the day tickets are £10.
