Chessington World of Adventures Reviews (from Google)

Average rating 3.2/5 from 7 reviews

  • Not the most swish and snazzy theme park with huge rides as it caters for younger thrill seekers but it's still a fun day out. If you are only going to visit once choose a quiet weekend! Get there for opening to get a quick ride or two before the crowds arrive.

  • Great time with the kids. Queues were not too bad and we managed to get on most rides. Loved the Vampire and the much more sedate Zufari. Definitely a great family day out!

  • It was absolutely horrendous! It took about 5 hours to get on 7 rides... WITH A FAST PASS! which was a total of £205 just for the fast passes

  • Visited on a Family + friends day so we did not have to pay. Small queues for the rides which was great. Its looking very run down and could do with some cleaning up to the park to enhance the experience.

  • Autism mum experience! At first we didn't know about the accessibility pass so we spent about half an hour trying to find a ride that was suitable for my son's height and that didn't have a long queue, which was impossible; so we decided to find out if disable passes were available, we went to customer information office and after a short wait we were seen, I had on me my son's DLA award and with this we were issued an accesibilidad pass and a wristband, bare in mind they will only issue this pass if you have higher rate mobility or a doctor's letter explaining why the person is unable to queue. Gave it four stars because the layout of the park was hard to workout and the maps didn't make much sense so we kind of got stuck in one section.

  • We saved for this experience for my granddaughter's fifth birthday. It's an expensive treat.  Also it was the Easter holidays so we knew it would be busy but what we hadn't bargained on was the 'Fast Trackers' - Having paid good money ourselves we then discover that if you pay even more you can be put in front of the rest of us.  The queue for Vampire said one hour, three of our group wanted to go on the ride and two of us waited, me and my granddaughter had a stroll around using the colourful map which is almost impossible to work out, finally found crazy cars and tree top adventure. Over two hours later my daughter gave up the wait for the Vampire ride and came to find us.  The remaining two carried on queuing watching many fast trackers go before them.  At one point 35  Fast Trackers went through in one go.  This is a ridiculous and grossly unfair system raking more money off those that can afford it over the rest of us who have managed to pay the entry fee and certainly causes a lot of bad feeling.

  • Great family theme park although not a fantastic amount for under three's to do. Staff that we spoke to were very helpful and the place was very clean and tidy.
