With five engaging museums situated in the historic site of Peninsula Barracks, and a sixth Museum located just outside the City, no visit to Winchester would be complete without visiting Winchester's Military Museums!
The six museums are:
HorsePower, the Regimental Museum of The King’s Royal Hussars
The Royal Hampshire Regiment Museum
The Rifleman’s Museum
The Gurkha Museum
The Royal Logistic Corps Museum

Each museum offers a unique experience and has its own story to tell. There are fantastic collections of medals, paintings, uniforms, models, and military objects on display across the whole site, making a trip to Winchester’s Military Museums worth a visit.
For coffee, a light lunch, or afternoon tea, Joe’s Cafe can be found at the The Adjutant General’s Corps Museum.
Admission to The Rifleman’s Museum and The Gurkha Museum is £6.50, with discounts available for concessions. Admission to HorsePower is £5. Admission to all other museums is free.
A joint Winchester’s Military Museums Ticket is available from the museums with paid entry for £16, offering entry to all the museums.
