Animal Collection / Zoo
A visit to Marwell Zoo is a chance to get close to the wonders of the natural world – and play a big part in helping to save them.
From ring-tailed lemurs to Amur leopards, majestic giraffes to bat-eared foxes, pygmy hippos to endangered tigers – our 140-acre park is home to an incredible range of exotic and endangered species, in beautiful, landscaped surroundings.
Experience the African wilderness first hand at Marwell’s newest and biggest ever exhibit – Wild Explorers! Home to white rhino, Grevy’s zebra and scimitar-horned oryx, the new immersive exhibit is five times bigger than any other at the zoo.
With five play areas, a wide range of food and drink outlets, and road and rail trains it’s more than just a walk in the park.
As well as all the beautiful animals to see there are lots of exciting events taking place at Marwell Zoo. Visit Marwell's website to find out about the upcoming events taking place during school holidays and bank holiday weekends.
