Hobbs provides a variety of ways to enjoy the Royal River Thames from self-drive and chauffeur-driven days out to its newest boat a luxury self-drive cruiser, the only one of its kind in the UK, for longer breaks.
River Trips - take a trip on one of the daily sailings (April-September). Relax and discover the river between Henley Reach and March Lock or Hambledon Lock.
Self-Drive Motor Launches – Drive yourself and explore the river. These boats are available for hire by the hour or the day. 4/6/9 or 12 seaters.
Rowing Boats – try your hand at rowing in a fibreglass skiff (rowing boat). The skiffs are available for hire by the hour or by the day. 3 or 5 seaters.
Self-Drive Electric Launches – for those looking for style. These launches are for up to 6 people and have a cover. Available for hire by the hour or the day.
Edwardian Style ‘Self-Drive’ Launches – If you’ve previous boating experience, why not treat your friends and family to a day on the river. Available for Day Hire only, seats up to 12.
Chauffeur-driven Launches – A unique opportunity to experience a cruise on a 12 seater elegant Edwardian style launch. Just sit back, relax, sip champagne and let the experienced skipper take care of you. Available for hire by the hour or the day.
Luxury Self-Drive Holiday Cruiser – unparalleled luxury afloat on the River Thames and exclusive to Hobbs of Henley in the UK is the stunning Linssen Grand Sturdy 34.9 Motor Yacht. Brand new from April 2013 ‘Jacqueline IV’ will be available to hire for a self-drive adventure with friends or family, ideal for that special occasion or holiday. Charter by the week. Previous boating experience preferred.
Special Events – why not book one of our special cruises e.g. Mothers Day, Wildlife, Caribbean or Traditional Jazz cruises (some are afternoon and some are evenings).
Private Hire – our passenger vessels are also available for private hire. Choose from The New Orleans, a Mississippi sternwheeler with tall twin smoke stacks and paddle wheel, The Hibernia, a special experience encased in glass or the newest addition, The Waterman. Finally, come and join us for the Henley Festival or the Royal Regatta.
