Hampshire is set for another exciting year in 2024, with an array of large-scale events and festivals. Home to a host of food and music festivals, family fun events, and special anniversaries, you're sure to find plenty of exciting events to include Hampshire in your holiday plans. 2024 marks the 80th anniversary of the Normandy Landings, the largest seaborne invasion ever, and one that changed the course of history. There will be a host of anniversary events across the region, both on the 6th June but also throughout the year at The D-Day Story in Portsmouth. Jane Austen House will also be celebrating its 75th anniversary as a museum before the county marks the 250th anniversary of Jane’s birth in 2025.
