2023 is knocking at the door and there are a host of great reasons to visit South East England next year.


Whether it's taking in the historic sites of West Sussex or cruising along the beautiful Dorset coastline, we guarantee there's absolutely no shortage of sightseeing opportunities in South East England. Make a stop in the medieval village of Sandwich, visit one of the brand new attractions in 1066 Country, or delve into the past with a visit to one of the many year-round attractions in the port city of Portsmouth.

The recently opened and unique British Tea Museum in Hastings Old Town is a must for lovers of English tradition. Learn about the etiquette surrounding Victorian teatime, while tasting different types of leaf and enjoying a delicious cream tea. 

In Rye, call first at the Heritage Centre, before setting off independently or on a guided tour to explore the medieval citadel. Plans for 2023 include the Smuggler’s Attic attraction, new heritage interpretation displays, and the opening of a new Heritage Lottery funded exhibition. 

The Relais at Cooden Beach opens fully for business at the end of 2022 as one of the most stylish beachfront hotels in Sussex.

Gatwick - Your London Airport

Gatwick - Your London Airport


Gatwick has an exciting year ahead. The London airport will be offering five daily flights to New York next summer, through British Airways, Norse, Delta (all daily) and JetBlue (twice daily). British Airways will also operate several flights a week between Gatwick and both Orlando and Tampa, as well as three flights per week to Las Vegas. TUI will be offering three weekly flights to Orlando, while JetBlue will operate daily to Boston. 

Norse will also be increasing its flights from Gatwick to a variety of destinations - to be announced early in the new year
