Tangmere Military Aviation Museum


Once a famous Battle of Britain airfield, now the home of a museum of military aviation with aircraft, artefacts, photographs, medals and uniforms, plus various flight simulators, including an EE Lightning cockpit. On display are two World Airspeed record breaking aircraft, a Hawker Hunter, and a Gloster Meteor. Also on display are an English Electric Lightning, a MD Phantom,and two Harriers. There is also the original Spitfire replica and a Hurricane, plus an excavated Hurricane from the Battle of Britain. An attractive Memorial Garden may also be visited So much to see for all the family!
